Shipping Policy
At Get Backyarding, our mission is to help you transform your outdoor space into a destination you love. Because we offer a wide range of products—from small packages to large products—shipping methods and times may vary by item.
1. Order Processing Time
- Standard Items: Most in-stock orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days.
- Large Structures: Orders for sheds, pergolas, or playsets may require 3–5 business days for processing and quality checks before leaving the warehouse.
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or major holidays. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
2. Shipping Rates & Estimates
We strive to provide transparent shipping costs at checkout.
- Contiguous U.S.: We offer Free Standard Shipping on most orders over a qualifying threshold (typically $100+) within the lower 48 states.
- Calculated Rates: For items not qualifying for free shipping, rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.
- Expedited Shipping: If available for your specific items, expedited options will be displayed during the checkout process.
3. Delivery Methods
- Standard Ground: Smaller items are shipped via reliable carriers like UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Curbside Freight: Large or heavy items (over 150 lbs) are shipped via freight carriers.
- Appointment Required: The carrier will contact you via phone to schedule a delivery window.
- Curbside Delivery: Delivery is "curbside" only. The driver will offload the item at the end of your driveway but cannot move it into your backyard or home.
- Inspection: Please inspect all freight packages for visible damage before signing the delivery receipt.
4. Shipping Restrictions
- We currently ship only to the contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses at this time.
- Some oversized items may have specific delivery restrictions if your property is on a narrow or unpaved road that cannot accommodate a large freight truck.
5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update.
6. Damages & Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or is missing parts:
- Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt (for freight).
- Take photos of the packaging and the product.
- Contact us within 48 hours at sales@getbackyarding.com so we can initiate a claim and send replacement parts immediately.
